monopolies, licenses, leases, concessions, patents or other rights or powers from the Federal Republic of Nigeria or any local authority in the Federation of Nigeria and exercise, carry on any work, powers, rights to privileges so obtained.
- To apply for, register, purchase or by other means acquire and protect, prolong and renew any patents, right brevets, invention, licenses,
trade marks, designs, protections and concessions which may appear likely to be advantageous or useful to the company, and to use and to account and to manufacture under or grant licenses or privileges in respect of the same, and to expend money in experimenting upon and testing and in improving or seeking to improve any patents, inventions or rights which the company may acquire or propose to acquire.
- To engage in business on such terms as may seem expedient, and to guarantee the performance of any contracts of obligations, and the payment of money secured by or payable under or in respect of bond, debentures, debenture stock, shares, contract,
mortgages, charges, obligations and other securities of any company or of any authority, supreme, municipal, local or otherwise or of any persons whosoever, wither incorporated or not.
